So 1st let us know what actually CCH REGISTRATION is? It is the registration of homoeopathic doctors in the Central Register of Central Council of Homoeopathy, Government of India.

Now, let us know WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS you have if you get yourself registered under CCH. So, according to the provision of section 26 of the Homoeopathy Central Council Act of 1973, the registered practitioners will have the following benefits:

  1. Firstly, and most importantly, You will be legally eligible to practice Homoeopathy in any part of India – Now this isn’t possible if you are registered under the state council, like after passing out from the college, after getting a BHMS degree, you get registered under your state council and you get a registration certificate from there. But that registration is only valid within your state, outside your state you are not eligible to prescribe legally. So this problem gets solved if you register yourself under the central council.
  2. Secondly, job opportunities. If you are registered under a particular state council, you can apply for jobs within your state only (obviously for non-central job vacancies) and you cannot apply for jobs in other states. For this what you need to do is cancel your state registration and get yourself registered in the other state where you want to apply for the job post. Now this is doable but tiresome. And imagine every time you switch state for jobs, you need to go through the process again and again, cancel current registration and again register in the other state. So the solution to such hassle is to get yourself registered under the CCH. Once you get yourself registered under the central council there is no requirement for the cancellation of your state registration number if you are moving to other states for jobs. That one registration will be applicable to all of India.
Now one thing to notice here is that, you need to check whether that state job post is accepting CCH registered applicants or not. In most of the cases they accept, but they may not. If they are accepting then obviously you will be eligible to apply, but if they are not then you are not applicable.
  3. Then, another important benefit You will have is the right to vote in CCH elections. And also you would be able to contest in these elections.
  4. Lastly, You will also be eligible to appear in competitive examinations of other states as well. Prior to getting your cch registration you can only apply for examinations, PSC, MO/RO examinations within your state only, but post cch registration you can apply in these examinations in other states as well.
